I'm still in the process of stripping my Wayne 70 and getting it ready for paint. I'm not a pump collector so this will probably be the only pump I restore for my garage. I like to looks of the Polly pump and have already purchased the Ad glass. My question is what type of decal goes on the pump, waterslide to vinyl decal? Is a clearcoat used to cover? Also what is the background on the Tombstone Polly Decal? They look great. Thanks for any help.

I used a water transfer on mine, make sure that the paint the paint has cured before you apply it.

Craig, On all the Poly pumps we have done, we have always used the vinyl decal. It handles nicely, needs no clear coating to protect it, and if by chance you mess it up, is less expensive than the water transfer. Just my opinion from experience.
