So this might be a long shot... but if anyone has extra Standard sign pieces. I am in need of everything in the green box below. I want to do a wall mount, so I just need a half of the top portion of the porcelain flame holder and half of a standard flame. PM me if you have something.

Bryce--Every once in a while, I have seen pieces of one of these for sale. It might take a while, but if you keep looking, you'll find one. I have seen some really nice wall mounts done with the complete holder. They just made a bracket that would attach to the wall and slide thru the openings in each end of the flame mount. 1/2 of a flame would be impossible, unless you bought a good plastic one and cut it in half?? Look for the complete assembly and make a really neat display! I had one a few months ago and I bought it at Iowa Gas. Cost around $250 but was really nice shape!

thanks Kevin, for some reason I was thinking the plastic globes were 2-piece. I was able to pick up a bottom half that just needs some good cleaning at the coin op show on friday.

Bryce I have the top piece of the holder if you are interested or have not found one yet. You are not far from me so we would not have to ship

I don't think a plastic flame was ever used in that type of mount but I could be wrong.

They used both the plastic & glass flame globes on the top of the signs. I have seen them both being used

Scott--They did use a plastic version of the Standard flame for the tops of the big Standard Oil lollipop signs. Maybe in response to broken glass from hail & such??

Use a glass flame to cast 1/2 in fiberglass or resin. It would look great. Dave

Bryce--contact oldnfuelish on this site. I believe he has one mounted on the wall, and I'm sure he'd send you a picture.

Tornado barely missed us by about 4 miles, but lots of friends who lost everything. Will send you a PM once cable is back running. Only have cell access right now.
We live in the country just a couple miles outside Washington, so my cable and internet being out isn't much of apriority. n
