Since I got home this evening I've been researching this sign more. Apparently the usage of "Ford Motor Cars" is early 1900s into the 19-teens as far as signage. I have looked back through oldgas posts and still coming up with zero signage similar in size or complete saying.

They were still using the term motor car well into the 30's in England and other english speaking countries, looks foreign to me. Since I got home this evening I've been researching this sign more. Even one site which has examples of foreign and domestic signs, the closest is a US example on tin from the teens.

Great sign! Looks like they made several and painted in the mileage. Wonder if it was one of those cross country caravan promotionals of the early days?

Did a little digging on that tin sign... Bellingham, WA was and still is home to Diehl Ford, established in 1908! Tbird, you should run that sign by the dealership and get a picture of it setting with their Model R.
