How do you tell the difference between the original and repro blue tiolene bottles. I found a new one on eBay here's the item # 360786938916
Oilzum, 1qt Oil Cans, Gas and Oil smalls, Oldsmobile collectables.

Are they saying new as in repop new or original new. Are these even repoped.

did pure oil ever make an original blue bottle as per subject?..

Don't feel bad pal, I called Ron Throkmorton on this subject about 8 years ago and he filled me in on what our friends in China were doing with these bottles. They made a ton of fake Tiolene bottles, watch for the Chinese symbol embossed in the glass at the bottom of the bottle.
