How do you tell if it is a genuine or a reproduction? I seen this exact sign go for 445 buckaroos on an auction a couple months back. But it was not a repro. How can you tell the difference? Ebay item #7108923975. Does anyone know the actual value of such a thing? and from what date era this sign would be from? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7108923975

I'M GONNA JUMP RIGHT IN AND SAY THAT I THINK IT'S ORIGINAL JUST BASED ON THE TEXLITE/TEXAS NAME.
PLUS THE SIZE, THE LOCATION OF THE HOLES (LESS GROMMETS) ARE THE TELL TALE "SIGNS" OF AN ORIGINAL.
HOWEVER, I AM NOT A CONOCO COLLECTOR, NOR DO I DABBLE WITH SUCH SMALL SIGNS. I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE!

I deal in thousands of reproduction porcelain signs a year, and you can rest assured that this is the genuine article.
