But as I said last time this topic came up, glass that is colored by the UV Rays of sun will not be evenly colored unless cyl. was evenly rotated [360°] to catch the sun's rays.

I agree the one pictured was not done by the sun it was made that way I looked closely at the top where the cylinder fit into the jar lid and it was purple "where the sun doesn't shine" so to speak.
The one's on my wayne 60 were definetly caused by the sun.

I have some barn lanterns that have turned blue and violet, and I have had some Visi-gauges that were blue, but never saw any this dark. That visible looks like the cylinder I have.
Either way it looks great.
