I just found a gilbarco model t177 on farm near my home. It is in fairly decent shape, (complete with minor surface rust). The cylinder does have a crack from top to bottom and half a dozen bb holes. I would like some input on what this pump is worth? The farmer wants $1000.00. Someone told me that 5 gallon visibles are harder to find. Does anyone know where I might find an original or repo cylinder, it measures 10 1/4 inches outside diameter and 20 inches tall. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a fair price to me, 5 gallon pumps are hard to come by. I sell the 10"X20" acrylic cylinders for $85.00. If you find one advertised for less I will match the price and take an additional $5.00 off.
