VEEDER ROOT QUESTION....Before I start doing something I will be sorry for, I want to replace the price per gallon wheels at the bottom of the unit. I see there is a pin that holds the piece in place but there doesn't seem to be enough room to lift it up without hitting the wheels above. Any secrets here? Thanks. Tokheim 39 unit!

Mick

You will have to take the head off to access the price wheels properly .Make sure the head is reset,
before removing, then do not let the wheels turn on the head when replacing. They all should be at zero when you are done.

The price wheels are all different except the middle ( C ) wheel....there is a B,E,A,F and two C wheels....most variators are marked with the corresponding letter.

Good luck.....( laughing maniacly!!!! )
It's not too hard to do.

Hey Jack....I need some wheels !!!!!!

Hey Joe,
Can you reset the head when it's off of the variator? If not, why not? There is just a single drive shaft out of the top right?
Thanks, Jeff

That is a tough one .....yes you can reset it. But there are all kinds of stuff that can happen if the gears with the stops get out of sinc with the wheels.
