They're done , finally. I been fighting the glass on the Gilmore and trying to get a flawless finish on the Zeppelin for over a year . Today, I finally got to set both dioramas out and see how well they work, ( ease of setting up , lighting etc . ) Thanks again to Mister Dick Bennett , Jim Treadway aka T-way , Chuck Caman aka K-mann, Nicole , and Gilmore who all helped one way or another in this giant project . Like I said earlier , there will be one more addition to this model street scene , a Richfield that was adjacent to the Gilmore in 2014.

The "Zep" is a beauty, but that Gilmore... ahhh... you know.

You should do something JOHNSON and then see if you can do a trade for one of those NOS Johnson signs.

Great job on both . I couldn't have those because my two little gnomes (kids ) would have the tires pulled off the cars and buildings vandalized lol! I even built shelves once for our toy cars and they still figured a way to get a hold of them , getting better as they have got older . I just showed both of them your models and they said oh wow , my son pointed out the oil stains on the parking lot of the Zep station , and with the real trees in the background those both look very realistic , but those are super nice Ed !

Excellent workmanship, Ed! I can't imagine having the patience to even attempt such an endeavour!

I look forward to seeing your progress on the Richfield of CA Station...
