I remember getting this with a pump a long time ago, but just came across it today. It looks too good to be a homemade job, but I haven't seen another. Any ideas?

I have seen a few of these, and somewhere in one of these file cabinets I have something on this nozzle. It is authentic.

It's a gas nozzle of some kind. It's just strange that is has no mechanism of any kind, it's just a pistol grip kind of a thing. Jack- If you find any info on it I would appreciate it, but don't be in any hurry. As long as I know it goes to something, I'll hang onto it.

Defiantly a gasoline nozzle.
By squeezing the handle against the rubber barrel, it opens a valve to let the gasoline flow.

As usual, the masters rock! After re-examining it after DB's post, I see what it does. There is a small rod inside the rubber hose part that is attached towards the far end of the nozzle. At the near end of the nozzle, there is a small rubber stopper attached to the rod. When you squeeze the handle, the rod becomes longer then the rubber portion thus moving the rubber stopper out of its' seat and allowing the gas to flow. Now, what era of pump would you think it belongs on? Thanks again guys!!
