I am in search of a pair of Smithway L1 sight glasses in useable condition. I know these are almost impossible to find, but maybe someone knows of a set for sale. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. This is an excellent site and everybody has been extremely helpful in my other searches.

Good luck. I've been looking for some for my pumps for four years. The last one I found came up at a buy it now on feebay one night and I snagged it. If you find extras let me know!....GB.

I've got a friend that just bought a crate of misc site glass, I will see what he has. He just sold his last L-1, I gotta go by memory on the size. I sold my last one about three years ago. Brady

That sounds good. If he has one that would help a lot. One on my pump is pretty nice, but the other is chipped.

Like this. 2 5/8" across the base and about 2" high..
If yours is only chipped and you don't use it, I'd take it. I have three pumps and only 2 glasses, so any would help....GB

If I can find a useable one I will send it to you. The chip is pretty large and is on the tip of the glass.

What would it cost to have a set made? An estimate would be okay. If it is not astronomic I would be interested.
