Ran across this pic on the web and was wondering what these 2 pumps are in the front of this station? I am at work and do not have jacks books handy here.

That picture is kinda interesting with two different brands of gasoline being dispensed. Richfield on one side and Gilmore on the other.

FYI... that photo is of 3-time Indy 500 winner Louis Meyer's station in South Gate, CA.

They look to be Boyle Dayton 748 Duplex possibly with the center section moved up and optional lighted bonnett.

I've seen images of this station many times, never knew that Louis Meyer owned it...

Thanks for the info!

DB,

I don't have pics of either of the pumps, even the ones on the right side, can you ID it also.

Also, anybody, how can I use this picture?

I know what it is, but I'll let Dick spill the beans at 5:01. Here's a hint, it's in the pump book with a different top, look to the left and you'll see the top. There was one at Knott's Berry Farm painted blue and red with a yellow cylinder, was salvaged from there and offered for sale maybe 8 years ago.

Jack, Use of the picture depends on if it is copyrighted. I would be interested in knowing too as it would make a nice painting in color.

Yeah, but they were painting it in shades of gray, not color

Oil dispensers, anything lighter they would have moved instead of covering.
