I don't usually "pick" dump cans since it seems like no one wants them - however this one caught my eye because it had a Phillips 66 logo on it. Upon further inspection I found that it was also embossed with a local area oil company that was in business back in the late 20's and 30's. This one dump can was among 13 other Standard Oil carrying cans. Go figure. Not a big fan of dump cans but this one is a keeper for me.

Always great to find something that you can link to local petroleum history.
