I finally finished my lubester this weekend and I am really proud of the way it turned out. Not sure, but I am thinking that it is a one of a kind restoration in the Deep Rock Air Race theme. A special thanks to Dick Bennett for his help on the artwork and the decals for the sight glasses. Also to Jim at T-Way for his many revisions on the lettering and final decal design. I was questioning my decision to go with all the polished pump parts about halfway through the process, but I'm glad I stuck with it!

Looks really good. Wish more folks would take the time and give attention to the old lubester carts. Really nice pieces.

Wow, thanks for all the nice comments guys! It feels good when you get such great approval for something that your peers appreciate. A lot of you have been super helpful to me on a number of things petro the last year or two and I really appreciate it. This is really a great venue with a lot of genuine people helping each other do what they love and I'm grateful to be a small part of the group. The Mustang was my labor of love for about three years before I finally finished it and could start doing the petro stuff I have accumulated over the last 8 years or so. Here is my photobucket link to some pics of it in more detail. http://s652.photobucket.com/user/FYIFORD/library/GaryB%2069%20Mustang%20Coupe?sort=3&page=1

Bottles are next DB....They will look sweet next to the lubester. I'm brainstorming a special lighted rack to hold the case of bottles...but my brain has been mush lately in the design department...GB
Thanks again to everybody for all the compliments!
