I went to a couple of farm estate sales over the weekend and did pretty well! The Deep Rock signs are NOS embossed tin signs and were never hung, and I haven't finished cleaning them yet. The globes were really dirty but they cleaned up pretty well, and I haven't done anything to the piston ring cabinet, but I think it will clean up pretty well too! The 2 Penn-Union cans have dents in them, so they are on the way to db for dent repair!
I spent a lot of time standing around waiting for these items to be sold, but I'm glad I did!

This double-sided porcelain Shell sign was packaged up and waiting for me behind the front screen door when I got home from work on Monday evening. It cleaned up pretty well. Interesting that the top colour is the yellow so that the red lettering and lines are all recessed. Cheers, Don.

I have seen a couple different Shell signs that were unfinished. They only had the base red color on them.

You guys have been finding some AMAZING buys! I really like the Chevy sign and the Ford can is incredible!! Thanx for sharing everyone! Most already saw my BOTW but here is another shot of it. I think it is 1950s, double sided flange NEON that is about 12 feet long by 8 feet tall. I LIKE BIG SIGNS!!!
