I have a very large Fisk Tire Boy, and am looking for some information about it. It is the well known kid in pajamas going off to bed with a candle in one hand and a tire in the other, but it is much larger than anything I can find information about. The kid is about six feet eight inches tall, and the tire is about seven feet in diameter. The entire thing appears to be of fiberglass construction, and I would guess that it dates back to the 1940s or 50s. I found it 16 years ago in the town of Everett, Washington, and at the time someone said it used to be at a gas station there, but i can't be sure of that. Has anyone out there seen a Fisk boy of this size? I would appreciate any information about this item, or even ideas on researching its origin.
