Some cool smalls, check out the Socony crayons, its full of the crayons still and each one has a Socony logo, and a Firestone porcelain sign. I had this sign, sold it and just got it back. I won't let it go again!

Picked up this globe. Was found in an attic of a garage in Orange CA back in the 70's in the original box. This is an early 1920's west coast version that is seldom seen, with the baby blue border and no eagle. The box had a date of 1923 on the shipping tag.

Quite a week for my part of the country.
I actually bought the rocker can from an old gasser a year ago and have tried to almost give it away the whole time since, but, today I put a little paint stripper on it and, behold! So, it's new to me today.
Thank you Shorty and Bobby Jones for the crown jewel and for being quality individuals.

Hello all, besides the Wayne 615 pump that I shared that the museum purchased, I have finally been able to pick up two Covey globes. They are not original, they are 13.5 reproductions produced in a special run 5/2013 although the date on it shows 2000. One globe is for me to have in my office and the other will be placed in the display at the museum.I am excited to have them as it seems I have a special place in my heart for Covey.

Picked up these signs. The 24" Gargoyle is a slight up-grade. The 48" Shell is a duplicate. The 24" Esso Aviation is dated 1938, d/s painted tin. The 15" Johnson is going on my restored 35B.

Few of the things I found today at the Antique Power Show today here in town. Also bought 2 wood Standard Oil grease barrels(25lbs)with lids and torch stamp that looks stenciled on,hmmm? Archer can was rode hard and put away wet but I will see what i can do for her. I like the early logo though.

Marc, Maybe try blowing in a bit of compressed air into that can. Those dents might pop out.

Anyone have any info on this Hyde's Pride and Wil-Flo cans, I really have a weakness for cold weather graphics on a old oil can being from an icebox and all. Are these hard to find? Still kickin myself for not taking pics of the 500 cans the guy had layed out.He was only a one day seller.
