it must of been North Argentina Free Trade agreement, that is where this sign is from..

this sign makes no sense to me... would love to hear a logical explanation as to why two competing oil companies would have a shared sign

This is a Spanish sign. Nafta is Spanish for petrol or gasoline. IMO this is an original sign .
