Bought a few items today. My daughter was helping me unload. She wasn't too happy when she saw that I had spent some of her inheritance on plain Gulf SERVICE letters.
But, her mood quickly started changing as the neon signs started coming out.
Rexall Drugs porcelain sign is complete with can and both faces. Esso porcelain neon letters are from the 30-40's (porcelain isn't faded bright sun over exposed the photo's). "E" is 49" tall and 33" wide. Atlas Tires clock is pretty cool especially since its dated (May 1955) on the back. Wish I could order some more for $7.50. Nos 60's Firestone tire and stand. Bought the plastic insert from ColdPizza a while ago. Sun engine analyzer has been in storage since 1983. A few non petro signs.

Mick, gotta take their help while they still enjoy working with Dad. My 18 year old son attends university between studies and being a gym rat and girls. Helping Dad is at the bottom of the list of things to do (except for when he needs gas money), whereas his 19 month old sister would rather spend all day helping her Dad.
I'm glad everyone likes them as much as I do!

...neat stuff, but those SERVICE letters aren't Gulf...
...I'm not sure, but I believe they're Standard of Indiana...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Mark, I appreciate you correctly identifying the "SERVICE" letters for me.
