I just go my first porcelain sign! I've been told that this sign is pretty rare and it is in pretty good shape. It is marked 1954 on the bottom.
I'm glad it is a Frontier Gas since we are close enough to Cheyenne that we can smell that dang refinery whenever the wind blows the right direction! Plus, it matches my car.
I plan on hanging it up in the bank here in town to make a neat display with the Erie 71 pump when it is done.
P.S. The Erie 71 got painted this weekend -- pictures coming soon!

I do hope you mean that the red in the sign matches your car and NOT that the smell from the refinery matches your car!!

I saw one of those standing in Meeker, Co while out there Elk hunting. Yours has better shine, it could just be the glare off the shinny ride!
