We aren't pump guys but for some reason pumps and pump parts have been following us home lately. We've got two glass cylinders for visible pumps for sale, each measure 12.5"x26".

The etched cylinder is kind of unusual, numbers on 3 sides and the squares are etched the actual number is left alone. I've never seen another one like it, but that doesn't mean anything. It came from an estate of an older gentlemen from Alabama who hadn't been active in the hobby in many years, thats all I know about it. It's in excellent condition. Asking $850 for it.

The other cylinder is a standard clear glass cylinder in good condition, but does have a chip on one edge, see the close up photo. Asking $450 for it.

Trades for globes or good quart cans would be considered.

No shipping, can be picked up in Holland, MI or delievered for free to an upcoming show or auction.

Thanks!

Aaron Hop

So where would you take the measurement for 1 gallon of gas on the etched cylinder?? With indicaters there is an actual point on the number itself, same with any other factory made etched cylinders i have seen, there is always a line drawn across, usually in the middle of the number to give you some sort of accurate measurement from 1 gallon to the next...

Yes that is correct, I have a very early catron ( later bought out and became the southwest pump co )10 gallon visible that had a near mint blue tint etched cyl that got broke . The guy I got it from was moving the pump with a 2 wheel dolly on his own and it got over center and he lost it and it crashed to the ground ! But for sure this pump had no indicators and used a etched glass , I seen the broke cyl as well.
