Over the weekend, at an auction, I bought four 30-gallon tanks for the storage of bulk oil. Each tank has a hand-crank pump atop it and a round, hinged door the size of a small stove-top burner. Two of the tanks have lightweight, sheet-metal doors, one of which is embossed with "Wayne" script; the others have heavier cast-iron doors. Aside from the "Wayne" logo, only one of the four tanks, all nearly identical, has any ID on it. One of the cast doors has a tag: "Manufactured by Gilbert & Barker Mfg. Co., Springfield" ... and I believe "Mass." Stamped in the tag are the following numbers/letters: 1 32 [or I 32] - 173H149634." Can anyone tell me the age of these tanks, how to get parts if I need them (though all the pumps seem to be working well), how to get copies of an original user's booklet (owner's manual), and whether Gilbert & Barker is still in business? Thanks!
