I've always liked the Shell clam globes. Kinda thought that if a good one at a good price would turn up, I'd grab it. So this past week a woman, who is a fellow high school alumni, contacted me asking about "glass Shell sign." Her Dad had passed away and she saw it while cleaning out his garage. We made a fair deal. Now I'll have to do a gas pump as Shell just to hold up this globe. wink

Marathon and Rocker can are fantastic finds. My two buys from the Indy Ad show. A pocket mirror for my display table and a cool old, small Shell flange labeled American Art Works. I missed some great items because I was beaten to them and others because my lottery ticket didn't win.

Got another call out of the blue from computer land somewhere, asking me if I was interested in a Goodrich sign? After he explained the condition and price, we decided to exchange my money for his sign! It was kind of scary waiting to see if there actually was any sign at all, but I received a tracking number that said "something" was on the way. A few days later, there was a large package in the entryway and I was totally relieved! Got a pretty nice sign out of the deal, and another contact! This one came from Kansas!
I needed a few more cans for my 36B display pump, so I jumped at these nice Texaco cans when they popped up on ebay! Hard to find a nice group all at once!

Clinton!--It suprises me too, and I have asked a few questions, and it has always been a google response from some sale ad or item that I had posted somewhere for sale! This last one was based on a 3 year old ad I had posted on Old Gas for a Goodrich sign that I had for sale! Go figure??

These are by buys. Got the awesome bracket from a fellow old gaser and took a few months to find a perfect sign to fit. The firestone fits perfect in the bracket.

Thanks,
Nic
