Thanks! I keep re-listing every time I see a T-53 for sale. I've got the ad in the can so to speak so if a T-53 gets listed and this isn't running let me know. I'll re-list mine.

For the past few years , there have been sellers on ebay making big money off a certain fantasy ,flat porcelain pegasus with the marking T53 on the belly. Its a popular sized sign, with a lot of allure. Just the right bait when your trolling for suckers.

T might be for Tex-Lite I think that was the name? 53 the year. Appears on the belly of 6ft Cookie cutter Pegasus. Had a guy email me about mine stating they made small Pegasus' in Canada with a black back. Anyone know of these? I said if T- 53 was on it it's fake. If there is no way to mount it I would be very skeptical.

So the T-53 itself is a legitimate marking for the larger cookie cutters? Just not on these small pegasus signs like these fakes we keep seeing?

Here's a clown selling a rare inverted Pegasus bell to go with the signs.

I know this thread is old, but making fun of “T-53” is going to make it bad for people who have a real T53 Cookie Cutter Version. Anyone new to the hobby or others that are not that educated on the subject will not want nothing to do with any T53 sign now.

Just so people get the facts straight when doing research:

Flat porcelain Pegasus signs marked T53 are fake

Cookie Cutter Pegasus signs marked T53 are Real
