Im sure many of you guys have seen me posting around the forum here lately. Im another that got hooked on this hobby by "just wanting an old pump". After finding one I got curious on some info on it and found this site. Its been downhill from there! I know I dont have near as many as most on here but I havent been collecting long so I think its pretty good for the time iv been at it.

As you can see from my sig, Skelly stuff catches my eye. I like DX stuff as well as my first pump that got me into this hobby is a Tok 300 decked out in DX. As you can see from the pic I found an orginal globe for that pump when I get it done up.

Here is a pic of what I have so far globes wise. The one piece milk glass is my baby. I got it from a friend here locally I met on here. He gave me a nice deal on it and I appreciate him for that. The Dixie is a repop. I plan to find an orginal one someday but a repop will work for now.

I had to get my repop Sunoco Racing Gasoline in the pic as well. I havnt done much research on this one yet but not sure if this is a fantasy one or they made one like this. Either way, im a hot rodder that also has an eye for Sunoco stuff so I and had to have it. Pretty good touch for a toolbox topper for now.

Pic of my Skelly Oil Company sign and plastic 9x9 Skelly. Mounted a light behind it. I love these.

For you non-petro guys. A couple pics of what im working on in the garage. 69 Camaro LS1 swap out of a 2000 Camaro SS. Hence my name LSx, im an GM LS guy big time. Im currently test fitting the engine/trans and headers right now. It is stripped to basically a shell right now. After drivetrain fitment its off to the body shop for paint. White with orange stripes with orange interior. BTW, its the ol ladies car wink

Currantly working a deal on a visable pump so hopefully I can get that deal sealed. I can give that one piece milk glass a home!

Stay tuned

Its on the back porch. Its colder than all get out here plus it was dark when I posted so I couldnt get a pic of it. Ill try to get one here soon. Its in really nice shape and has all the parts to it. Even the heavy pump inside which I wish it didnt.

Nice stuff Brian . May I suggest you put masking tape over your intake posts on your engine. You never know what might crawl in there ,or fall in there. Don't ask how I know !

Thanks for the suggestion. The factory heads you see will be coming off for a set of CNC stage 2.5 5.3 heads.

...Skelly is a good choice - they used many globes - most of which are inexpensive - and their color scheme makes for a nice display...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
