Used for distribution of bulk oil to gas stations in the 20's and 30's; see pic below. If you see one in person check at the base of the neck, should have the oil name printed there; the one I purchased is Conoco.

24" Sinclair that had there been a fourth Maxwell I wouldn't have it now.
42" Porcelain Kelly sign that never made it inside.

Not quite buys of the week since I got this stuff for free this week, but I was happy with it.

Ended up with 2 of the BP signs, the Cooper Tire sign, and over 200 Amoco composite cans (full). Not sure what I will do with all of them. I only ended up taking half as I got tired of toteing them to the truck.

Another great show, I picked up a couple things for the collection, also sold a few.

The sign is probably from 1936 to 1940. I saw pictures of this sign before, never saw an actual one in person before the show. Most signs with this logo are round. There should also be a green Opaline mate to this.

Composit DTR cans, 1969, there is also a red and green version from around 1971

A couple of items I bought for my collection at the Columbia show. Missed all the good Sinclair stuff. There was a vendor there that worked for Champion and was hauling out some great items. I got this Champion spark plug tester, new in the box! Also thought this floor jack would look cool painted and detailed.

Picked up a few things at Columbia and managed a few items on the way home too! Fun trip but a long one! LOL I managed 2485 miles by the time I got back (5 days)!
The white letters are a NOS TEXACO set thats complete. The Koolmotor sign is an upgrade and I picked up the Laureleaf globe from a delivery stop with Oldnfuelish!
The thermometer was too nice not to buy and I HAD to have the radiator cover! LOL Cans came from a stop along the way, except for the Hudson that I got from Aaron Hop!

A couple of additions to my collection from It's A Gas! in Columbia, MO last weekend. I've been looking for a decent Zephyr 6 footer for years. This one's not mint, but I love it. The "Body Shop" sign is the bottom part of a two piece 1950s "We Recommend DuPont Duco Dulux" die cut porcelain sign. This will be featured in my display of auto paint and body shop memorabilia.
