Finally got the Erie 748 finished. Rearranged the shop and set it between my Seloil Kerr-Mcgee rack and Bowser curb pump....on to the next pump, a Tokheim 39 in Atlantic Imperial...Happy New Year to all....GB

Thanks for all the compliments. The book shows these pumps in this era as all white, but the red and gold looked too good to pass up. Besides, I am doing a sister pump to this one in white with the red DX regular door sign and "DX Lubricating Gasoline" globe and ad glasses......I might have some before pics, but just imagine the rustiest pump shell without windows and faceplates you can imagine and that was pretty much what I started with......GB

I'm in Monett, Brian. Where are you? I bought a bunch of my pumps from the guy in Hannibal about 6 years ago.

WoW, I really like your pump. I'm a big fan of the late 40's-50's electric pumps. Is that about the size of a Wayne 80 ?(M&S 80) ?

The size of the Erie 748 is about the same as all the other short pumps but they look a little "fatter". I have one setting next to a MS80 and the Erie might be a couple inches taller. They are a little taller than a Tok 39 or 300. They look a little taller for some reason, maybe it's the refrigerator shape and round corners plus the tall windows and that bottom trim....GB
