This is another photo I took in the recent past. It's the the remains of a service station in a tiny community in New Mexico. I bet at one time this was a thriving business with bright colored signs, gas pumps, and cold sodas.

I thought you might like it.

Good post Orlando!! I love it because there is a lot of New Mexico history in that pic.That wall was obviously hand laid multi-form natural stone because that was all they had to work with in eastern NM when it was built.

Also,with the RR in the background,it demonstrates that early roads in NM followed the railroads when possible.Lots of history in that pic.There are a lot more crumbling adobe/stone ruins around here than many think,our people many times had to build them by hand with materials available at the construction site.

I think I know where that is,but I'll never tell.LOL.
