Thanks Mick! I had not seen that photo before... I have some other Tydol blimp images, but not that one... I would have loved to see the Tydol blimp up close... On the OR Coast, in Tillamook; There still stands...the "perfect garage" for the Tydol blimp... (or for all the Goodyear Blimps) A photo of the blimp hanger at the "old NAS Tillamook"... The hanger is now the "home" of The Tillamook Air Museum... During WWII the hanger housed 8 blimps. Each of the blimps were the same approx size as the Tydol blimp (the Tydol blimp, was purchased from the US Navy after WWII)....

I think there is one of these hangers on the way to San Jose from San Francisco. It's pretty big!

I'm greedy! So I'm asking Santa for both a full sized blimp and a "garage" to house it in... Now, I really doubt that I am on the "Nice" list, but one never knows....

Here is a photo of Tide Water employees in their Veedol cover-alls working on the most famous of all blimps... The Hindenburg.... The photo was taken in 1936 at NAS Lakehurst in New Jersey.... http://www.nlhs.com/photo.htmhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindenburg_disaster
