Dick, I swear to ya , this IS a true story. Just outside of Franklin West Virginia , in a town called Appelton , a fellow had a Correct Measure he kept form Gulf oil for one reason. The power came from Aplichian Power , yes , they had/ have a somewhat dubious reputation both here in Virginia and in West Virginia . I've known people to be without electricity for several weeks in snow season . Now this may not be so today as I havent been back to this ole Fishin Spot in years . I moved to Houston and didn't keep up with a lot of folks . Still, the place was just off U. S 33......... Ed Shaver
