Every week someone logs on and asks for a paint code. Doesn't anyone read the previous questions about paint codes? Tonight someone is asking for a Sinclair paint code. PLEASE, PLEASE, read some of the previous answers, so we don't have to continue answering this question.

Jack,Keep in mind that every week we have new people coming into the hobby and this chatroom. They may not know how to navigate through the site.If you don't like their questions don't answer them......and don't scare them away with your curt responses.

A possible solution:
Publish the codes from "Gas Pump collectors Guide" here on Oldgas. People could also be able to send in paint codes they know or have used from other brands. Just a thought.
regards,
Claes

Major Paint Manufacturers such as DuPont, Valspar, etc. offer FLEET color chips books for under $10.(complete color chips books are pretty expensive.) It has a lot of solid colors used by the various companies. These colors seem to be brighter, less muddy than a lot of the auto colors. The large selection of colors will allow a close match to Globe or Decal/Sign colors. My jobber has a computer listing of who uses what color.
