Yep, if they are in good shape they are bringing big monies. I bought a near perfect one this past august at the Iowa Gas auction for $575 (inc buyer premium) and thought maybe I went too high but I guess not. I beat out a phone bidder to do so!

Thanks
Mike

This type sign is a little special to me because it is what started me in this hobby. I was at a little antique festival last spring and bought one of these as my first ever piece of petroliana. It has an about 1/4" gash right across the top tip. Other than that in great shape. Oh, and no studs. It looks like they twisted of as they took it off a pump or something.
I paid $260. So I'm happy bought that.
The problem is I want the opposite color one that matches this, but I can't outsave the price rise that these are going trough.

I bought 4 of the blue ones in excellent shape a number of years back and I remember at that time thinking it's crazy to pay 400 for the set. They are great looking pieces and Sunoco colors grab your attention.

Thanks
