Ohio for some reason had more Tall Tens than any other state, from what I have noticed.
Tall Tens use a 10"-10 1/4"dia. x 38"-40" tall cylinder

There was a state law due to the fear of breakage of a shorter larger diameter cylinder as opposed to the tall??? Makes no sense to me, maybe someone from OH can help out.

Thanks, Phil

That's kinda what I heard Phil.
BUT, 10gal's is still 10gal's whether it's a 12.5" x 26" or 10" x 38"! [I'm thinking a State Rep had invested in an Ohio Glass Co. that made cylinders!]

Talking about Tall Tens, WHY haven't we seen/heard of a Mae West w/ a Tall Ten Cylinder?
Makes more sense to me that After WAYNE bought out FRY, it would have been easier/cheaper to use the T.T. cylinder than to convert them to WAYNE or RUSH base plates, cyl. lids & Bonnets.
