Hello to all!
I am restoring a 1947 Amoco station. I have done it through historic tax credits and it will be a state and federal historic landmark. The company I work for will be using it as some type of office. It is fairly accurate with some changes to make it usable for modern purposes. I am looking for the large sign and pole. I am not sure if our city code will permit me to place the sign but hope to have that answer soon. I am also restoring a gilbarco 96c pump. I have everything I need to make it Amoco and to restore it except a good top cover panel. It is just going to be used for looks outside...just to light up. If I cannot find a metal one, what do you think about the plastic version? Any advice on the station is gladly accepted

I've been intending to get back in touch with you. Check with Chip Flohe down in Sevierville, TN for the Amoco sign and pump parts that you need. He can be reached at (865) 254-8027. Call me if any questions.

The station is looking good. Love that green neon. I'll stop by, and BTW, I am making a presentation on gas stations at the VA Transportation Museum for the historical society on November 29. Hope to see you there.

The plastic tops are flimsy and cheesy imo. At least the one I tried to do something with.

The station is on Roanoke Virginia. Let me know if you ever get close by and I will give you a tour.
