Hi all

This pump just finished a couple hours ago... Wayne 605 Double pump restored in 1960's BP ... gave me a bit more headaches than usual but happy on how its ended up.

not sure if BP in the states was the same or similiar scheme??

cheers
Martin

Actually, when B P took over the former Richfield of New York and Sinclair markets in 1980, the paint schemes were similar . We used a slightly lighter Green for our "Regular " and White for our premium . Now B P stayed around for maybe five years here in Virginia and North Carolina . Next thing I know , British petroliuem had merged with Sohio oil . B P came back again in 2000 as a part of Standard Oil Indiana - Amoco with this time a twist . This time , Amoco stations were re- branded B P stations and showed signs saying "B P featuring Amoco gasolines ".

Hey, now Gulf is making a comeback too !

probably was there... BP pumps like this were still in use in the 70's.. i remember that film was made in the mid to late 70's... great early Australian movie that was the start on great locally made movie's that went around the globe.. ... downside it was out before i was born... lol
