I would think that is a good indication it is real.

I had some very nice finds this past week! I got this nice old double sided Cities Service sign in the mail from another Old Gasser on this site!
The procelain SOCONY globe lens came from EBAY and I had never seen one before, so I had to have it! LOL
The last item came along with a gas pump that I went to pick up! I was able to get one of the nicest Wayne 80's that I've ever run across and the gentleman show'd me this sign when I inquired about old signs. Its probably the same company "DELCO" but this sign was supposedly tacked on the shipping crate that held an old Delco light plant that would have been used to charge the batteries in an old farmhouse. Pretty cool little sign!
