This was absolutely the best condition Standard pole sign that I have ever found!(SEE PICTURES) It stood in front of the Jacobsen Oil Company Standard station in Hope, North Dakota, for a lot of years before I ever purchased it! It took just about 3 years to buy the sign! I had left my name and phone number at the station and I would call there about twice a year, inquiring about the availability of the sign! It was supposed to go to a family friend of theirs but a divorce changed his plans and the sale of the station brought about a phone call asking if I still wanted the sign! I was there early the next morning and home by early afternoon with it!
After posting it on BOTW, I had a lot of interest in it and one day I received a phone call from my friend Kris in Florida, and one thing led to another and we were able to line up the transportation and a couple weeks later the sign was headed for Florida!
I'm certainly glad Kris got this sign and gave it the position in his collection that it deserves! Its a great sign and with Kris's care, will easily be preserved into the next century! WAY TO GO KRIS!!!

im about to get this same sign and pole but it doesnt have the flame. can you get that repop? hard to find? know where where i might can get ?

Check ebay constantly and keep looking on Old Gas. I often see them in some of the trader sites on facebook too! The flame globes have about doubled in the last 2 years and you can expect to pay $1000 to $1200 for top of the line!

Dang, that is the sign that was from my mothers hometown. We were wondering where it went when it disappeared.
