I bought this tin sign this morning, I never seen one like this before, it looks like the side of an oil can but the back is well finished, anyone can helped me telling me if it was usual to produced signs with cans sides

I think it was a can turn into a sign. notice how the product of USA is cut in half.

Looks to me like a can that was unrolled and perhaps someone put it into a brake and bent the sides over to help keep it straight and give it some rigidity. Looks kinda cool but isn't worth a lot IMO.
