Were there many neon signs at Iowa this year and how were they selling? Any more pictures of things available there in that style?

Outstanding Cadillac neon, Pontiac Goodwill Used Cars, and a very unusual Pontiac Parking sign (think all these were pictured in the Iowa Gas thread and most were sold/presold?). Saw a Shell clam neon change hands. Didn't see much at all for unrestored signs or skins, most everything done and pricey. Half a Case with eagle for $3500 unrestored, and an International Trucks. Not much more that I recall. Sorry didn't take any pics.

There is a pic of CAD in the Iowa Gas thread, not sure if it was a sold or asking price, but the number I heard tossed around was plenty high. Have to say though, it is a very nice, very rare sign!

is it worth messing with old wood signs that were once neon? I picked up a Mobilheat sign about 12X60 that is on 3/4" plywood that has all the holes where neon once was, but it's pretty roached, have been wondering what to do with it.

Still worth collecting. Have a Packard sign like that and looks great to me. Had other wooden signs and with the neon, you miss a lot of the bad look when the neon is on.

That would look great lit up with clear blue tubing and cheap to do.
