Does anyone know where to buy the jar-lid glass for the top cast piece above the cylinder (chicken wire embedded)? Also, what torque values would a guy use when tightening the 3/8ths threaded rods to keep from cracking the visible cylinder?

There are three glass companies in my tiwn of 50,000. The exact glass with chicken wire wasn't available from any of them. Their comment was that it was an old style. I ended up going to the school district I worked for. One of the high schools where I worked used the glass and at times replaced it when it was damaged. My point is that you should probably look around at some of the old buildings in your area and. . .
