why the difference in color?
Is it just aging?
Did they issue them in different colors?
Both real or fake?

Both genuine cans, and yes, the color differences are the norm with a can of this age. It's mostly due to how the can was stored for years, in dry conditions, in a moisture filled basement, etc. I think creamy colored ones are found more often than more pristine white ones, but we're talking a 70+ year old can here! smile

From what I can see of the top lids, looks to be different Can Companies. Gotta remember that when cans were ordered they required 100's of 1,000's in a reasonably short amount of time for the many regional refineries.
