Anyone with information on these two cans? I could not find them in the mobil collectibles book or anything similar on the internet. What were they used for? Are they rare? Are they worth anything? Thanks in advance for your help--Russell

They look like the later ones with Pegasus that come up for sale on Ebay from England and Australia with the big spouts like that. Don't look American to me....

Do they have an opener (punch) on the inside of the handle?

Most of the "pouring cans", I have noticed have been unmarked... So I went on Ebay and sure enough... I found a couple Sears Cross Country logoed cans... # 140792176393 and 230834655185

Taking Randy's suggestion, I found different Castrol pouring cans on Ebay UK # 200805415653 and 271033090367

... So they just might be foreign....

The Sears are a little different design... I like the Mobiloil ones you have found....

I have no knowledge of them, as to value and/or how rare they are...

Do Foreign countries use 1/2 Pint to measure?
Would think they use 1/4 liter or equivalent.

Similar can sold in UK to one. Nice value too!

FYI.... no issue with "pint" and "1/2 pint"
From wikipedia

"Metrication in the United Kingdom is the process of introducing the metric system of measurement in place of imperial units in the United Kingdom.

Though it was first discussed in the Parliament in 1818, the formal policy of metrication only started in 1965. "

The U.S. also tried getting away from the imperial units (I remember the push to metric while I was in Elementary School in the 70's), and in fact the metric system is used extensively by the scientific community. What about engine measurements? cc's and liters?

Russell, they look pretty cool and I'm sure would be a great addition to anyones collection.
