Evenin' (or Afternoon) all!

Long day with a mentally challenged friend that we (Bob more than I as I have art events often on the weekends) visit on a regular basis. She loves shopping at the dollar store and it gets her out a couple weekends a month. It's a long drive and tiring though...

Enjoying a relaxing evening at home catching up here. Waiting for the pretaped olympic closing ceremonies.

Lots more competitions than when I was a kid, but then I'm old...

Saw 104 on the thermometer today. That's a hot one here! Staying inside where it is a cool 84 right now. Glad I got the car washed this morning when it was in the 60's. I'll probably have to give the tomato plant another shot of water. The little guys are sure ripening with the warmer temps.

Extremely cool here today in the 60's and drizzling all day. Watched the USA baketball game this morning followed by the Race so in other words pretty lazy day around here. Only left the house for a couple hours to visit my Dad for his Birthday after the race was over, sounds like he wants to go to Iowa Gas Next year so I am excited about that.

Spent the entire day upstate NY in Fishkill. Christening for my niece's 2nd child, a baby girl born only a few weeks ago. BBQ and party afterwards on this nice 81º somewhat humid day. Preparing for the new week coming! Man, I am beat!
