Everything is on schedule; remember, bring your own shade, with the biggest oak gone so are a lot of shady spots (but we still have some shady characters...)

I was still trying to make it fly but it simply doesn't make sense to drive for 5 days to pick up a sign or two. I'm regretfully out on this trip all together. frown

Jason will be getting there when it is dark WOW He has a hard enough time when it is light. I usually post pictures but hard to do from Michigan. LOL Maybe better when I get to PA tomorrow. Remember no selling on Thursday. Ted

I heard rumors that some guy found an abandoned shop east of Lodi and is bringing quite a collection of rare oil cans and pump plates. Hopefully we can make some good deals on this fresh merchandise.

I will, however this is what happened to me last few years:

Every time I take or see someone else take photos at Fred's, the seller usually gives some sort of crappy look at us. Like, who are you and why are you taking photos of my stuff!? They usually are not very receptive. I then explain to them that I will be posting the photos on here and the response I usually get is, "It will cost you $10 to take pics of my stuff." About half are joking. I tell them I am giving them free advertisement on here. They usually walk away from me at that time. No longer interested in what I am doing. They don't even off to give their phone number. Last year, only 3 people said thanks. I post the photos any way for reference for everyone on here and to see what is out there for sale. I also like to look at what I missed because I was too focused on other items.

I am a buyer, and not a seller. I sell a few items here and there. If I was a seller, I would give everyone my info via pre printed cards, because I am there to make money. But that's just me.

If this happens again, I will no longer take pics to post on here.
Mike

I do not blame you for having that thought. It is frustrating to get that attitude when you are there just for the sake and to help others see what is there and available. Thanks for taking the pictures in the past though. We will see what happens.
