...hmm...the Midwest sign, as well as two porcelain (?) license plate toppers, look suspect to me as well...

Ended early (not by me) I think it's a repop. Whole back not shown. Strategic corner chips. Rust that is too new looking. Anyone see one before? I've been wrong before. 221094508163

I vote Fantasy as you couldn't Read the Pennsylvania Seal. To me if the porcelain/sign company couldn't get a clear printing they would have done an Ink Stamp before firing.

I've never seen that sign before and looking at the back and detail on the front, i wouldn't buy it if offered. jm2c

I have given up on most of the small pump signs ,I bet I saw 30 or more along the 127 sale that were bent as to fit a visible pump base or chipped along the edges so that they looked old and every one I would ask would say I am not sure how old that sign is.

...it's funny how they're never sure how old it is - but they always price them as if they knew they were old!

Looks like the same Texas seller with all the fake Fire King mugs, signs and bowls you name it.

Here is a few of his names thegamechallenger, funwithyumyum, lantysjet, jusstuff, cooldishes, alildumdum, texasrevival, queenb626, johnandjunelove. My wife collects fire king mugs and read about him on this website.

Never seen that size before but Matthews auction did sell an original 18" x 22" Penn trump porcelain sign with the card on it. Sold for $16,500.

Everybody should pay close attention to the list of eBay names that Bud Miley compiled above. I've been watching a number of the sellers listed, and they are all listing the fake Fire King mugs, and a whole bunch of small signs.

For sure, all of the door bread pushes are fake, the grommets on the Foster's Freeze signs don't match any on originals that i've see.

I also collect ice cream containers, and they ice cream container signs in my opinion are all fake. They of course follow the same template and always match a container that has recently sold on eBay.

Finally, I collect Double Cola signs as well. If you notice, each of these sellers has sold a soda door push that has rolled over edges. They follow the exact same sign shape, edges, holes, etc. and have stratgic wear to them. I've only seen one original and the Double Cola pushes these sellers have been selling don't match.

They also sell a variety of license plate attachments..all too good to be true.
