Nice group. I have the round quart that matches the Texaco Outboard. I know they're not real rare but I think they're cool. I had a matching 5 gallon as well. And of course, The Gulf stuff is always neat.

...can you post a photo of the back side of the Gulfpride quart? I'd like to see what differences (if any) there are with the American quart...thanks!


Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

...you may very well be right - I know at some point they started to differ...Gulf started using the can in your picture in 1947, and I've seen a Gulfpride HD Select can from Switzerland, from about 1955, that was just a little different...
