Hi all, just picked up a Tokheim 300 tonight locally, mostly complete for $75. I have been primarily working on soda machines, but I couldn't resist this deal so I'll be spending a lot more time on here!

The entire pump is still inside, should I start by pulling that out, is there any value to having it with the pump, what should I do with it?

Bear with me as i get used to posting some photos, lets see if these work.

Welcome to Oldgas.com Shop Talk! Great job on picture posting on your first day here!

Nice buy on the pump. You should be able to find any parts you need for that model.

Here is an answer to your pump internal parts question in our Frequently Asked Questions forum:

Tkaz, if it were me , I would bring it back to ORIGIONAL Amoco livery, ie Dark Green , Black band at the bottom . Tways graphics has the No Lead decal for the side . Lot of folks have done these computer pumps into book cases by gutting the lower cabinet . The computers can be made to run on a 1 cycle per minute motor . Ed Shaver

So, after some tearing into the pump today, one maybe easy question. I haven't seen any 300's with this sight glass, and I think this pump was converted to kerosene at some point. Is this size normal?

Yes, this sight glass sticks out much more than the one on my Tokheim 300. Also I noticed that yours looks to have a sight glass on each side of the pump where mine only has one located opposite of the nozzle side. My 300 is dated Feb , 1956. Have you been able to date your pump yet?
