rvanpelt Petro Enthusiast Registered: Mon Oct 23 2000 Loc: Nebraska	Also, his pump has stuck. he said the pump's previous owner said it hasn't been very long since it worked. Could he remedy this by removing large nut, remove packing and shooting it full of penetrating oil, automatic tranny fluid??? He is hoping he doesn't have to remove the skins and tear down the pump mechanism. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help! Dick Bennett Veteran Member Registered: Wed Oct 25 2000 Loc: Santa Paula, Calif	Removing the Packing nut & packing MIGHT free up the shaft.
