MM, how early on was he a Texaco dealer? Before Texaco Canada there was the Texas Oil Co. with head office in Calgary back in 1930's and possibly earlier and they had their own stations competing against McColl-Frontenac. I would say the honor station plaque could be from this period. However it is not spelt the British (Canadian) way: honour. George would love those, lol. Coop.

Great Looking plaques!

It has been my experience that Oil Company's handed out brass plaques before the later part of the 1930s.... After that they handed out laminated wood plaques...

But, I have been known to be wrong.... LOL

I believe the Honor Station plaque dates to the 30's (there is a picture of one on page 88 of Rick Pease's book "A Tour With Texaco") . I love the Valor display sign!
