The Letson Garage has been a fixture in Portland since the 1920's, and in it's current location since 1944. The building holds an 80 YEAR COLLECTION of antique automotive-related items including a large assortment of petroleum items.
Don Letson, who passed away in January, 2011 was also a regional manager of ASSOCIATED/TIDEWATER and PHILLIPS 66 during the 1950's, 60's and 70's. There are many rare items for sale during this 3-day event.

Yeah, but I bet they aren't "picker" prices... more like Barrett-Jackson non-resale prices.

It's possible, a few always slip through the cracks though.

How did it go? Who got the good stuff?

Craig got most of the signs, I got all the globes plus a pallet load of killer Flying A stuff, 150 people showed, well run, very organized, prices were very reasonable on most items.

I wanted the More Miles to The Gallon Globe but with the air fair it would cost to much!!!

How many days did you camp out? How many showed up after you?

we got there wed afternoon, until thurs evening there was just my group and Craigs, got a few stragglers thurs afternoon and night but most started showing up from 4am on Fri morning. The room where all the globes were was small so they only allowed 5 in at a time.
